										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When HIKVISION NVR supports the POE feature in both Manual and Plug-and-Play modes, POE cameras can be added to the system. Please make sure the camera password and the NVR password match when using the Plug-and-Play mode. Alternatively, you might set the camera password to 12345.</p>
<p>The camera must be added directly to the NVR&#8217;s POE port in order for Plug-and-Play mode to be used.</p>
<p><strong>What you need:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>1- POE cameras</li>
<li>2- POE NVR</li>
<li>3- POE switch</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>How to manually add POE cameras to an NVR: </strong></p>
<p><strong>Steps: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Attach your camera to the switch&#8217;s POE port. Your NVR should be connected to the same switch.</li>
<li>2- Select Camera Management &gt; Camera &gt; IP Camera.</li>

<li>If you choose Manual mode to add the IPC with the POE feature, the IPC password can differ from the NVR password.</li>
<li>Unless the camera passwords match the NVR password or are the default value of 12345, do not hit One-touch Adding.</li>

<p><strong>Steps:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Your camera should be connected to the NVR&#8217;s POE port. Let&#8217;s say you attach your camera to POE port 2.</li>
<li>Select the second channel (D2) by going to Camera Management -&gt; Camera -&gt; IP Camera and clicking Edit.</li>
